SaasHangar ("we", "us", "our") sells a developer starter kit (source code). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. We collect as little as possible — we are not an ad business and we do not sell your data.
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: your email address, display name, and a hashed (never plaintext) password.
- Purchase data: which product/tier you bought, your license key, and entitlement status. Payment is processed by our merchant of record, LemonSqueezy — we never see or store your card details.
- Delivery data: download events (which version you fetched, when) so we can serve license-gated updates.
We do not collect or host any end-user content — SaasHangar is code you download and run on your own infrastructure.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To create and secure your account.
- To deliver the product you purchased and its updates (license-gated downloads).
- To send transactional email (account, password reset, purchase receipts).
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent downloads.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
- LemonSqueezy — merchant of record for payments and license keys (their privacy policy).
- Cloudflare R2 — encrypted storage for the source-code archives we deliver.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
Each processes data only to provide its function. Card data is handled solely by LemonSqueezy.
4. Data Retention
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active, so you can re-download updates you own. Request deletion at any time (see Contact) and we remove your account data; purchase/tax records required by law may be retained by LemonSqueezy.
5. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your account data, and request a copy of it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Downloads are served over short-lived, license-validated signed URLs. We use reputable infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, LemonSqueezy, Resend).
